The residential development launched in Kesk-Peetri in March 2019 has gotten off to a flying start. Stage 1 construction work and sales have so far gone according to plan. Apartments in the first two buildings – almost all of which have now been bought – will be transferred to their owners starting from early January 2020. Construction of the third and fourth buildings is ongoing, due for completion next May. Work on the fifth and sixth buildings in the development is planned to commence in late 2019 for completion in the final quarter of 2020. This new residential district close to the city has proven popular among young people and families not just from Tallinn, but also further afield. Peetri is ideally located, offering plenty of space and privacy but still just a 10-minute drive from the city centre.
Due to be constructed close by in the very near future are a new recreation area, Peetri Park, and the Peetri Keskus centre, offering a range of services to meet everyday needs, including a family doctor’s surgery.
The courtyards of the buildings in the development will have their own playgrounds for children of all ages and warm-up and exercise spaces for fitness-loving adults. Peetri itself boasts high-quality, well-developed infrastructure, including a good network of walking and bike tracks.
