Cornerstone laid on family-friendly Veskikodu mini-quarter

Late October saw the laying of the cornerstone on the Veskikodu family district in Peetri. Over the next 12-18 months we will be creating a cosy residential space designed for families with 48 new apartments. The first stage is due for completion in summer 2021.

With the Veskikodu development, we are continuing to establish new homes in pleasant areas with great potential. Project manager Timo Aarmaa says that the quiet, green space of Peetri, nestled just beyond Tallinn’s city limits, has become very popular among young families and families with children for the modern and well-developed living environment it offers. As such, family homes are at the heart of Veskikodu: three- and four-room apartments, demand for which in the area remains high. They have been designed with the main expectations of new home buyers in mind. All of the apartments come with their own terrace or balcony, large windows, automated and energy-saving technical systems and storage space. There is a grassy area with a playground by the building where residents can enjoy their free time, which in the interests of safety and security is partially fenced.

“Logistically speaking, the new apartments we’re building are in a fantastic location for families and young people looking to buy a modern home within easy reach of the city,” Aarmaa said. “Peetri is highly valued as a living environment and is really coming along. Everything you need is close to home – schools, kindergartens, shops and entertainment.”

The residential district in Kesk-Peetri is being constructed by Riser Ehitus to the designs of Arhitektuuribüroo Korrus.
